THE BEST SELLING
Grow System!

For growers that want massive yields, but prefer to take life a little easier. The Green Man Flood & Drain System is a must have. It's our best selling version of the Green Man System and the reason why? It's just so easy to get high quality crops.

HUGE CAPACITY

The Green Man Flood & Drain System has a massive capacity for your roots to develop, a total of 30L. Which as we all know, a:

larger root ball = a bigger plant

and a:

bigger plant = huge yields

it's as simple as that, giving your plants the space and environment to thrive and fill, encourages them grow to fill that space and with an optimised environment for the root zone, your plants will flourish and give you high-quality crops, lots of them.

NEVER BEEN EASIER

It's never been easier to achieve high-quality yields with the Green Man Flood & Drain System.

In the Green Man Flood & Drain System, your plants are rooted in a grow medium, unlike the Green Man Combi System which is pure hydro. Being rooted in a medium makes growing plants a less precise science and the medium protects the plants roots from dramatic temperature changes, fluctuations in pH levels and makes balancing your fertiliser levels much easier.

The down side? Compared to the Combi system, you'll end up with a slightly smaller yield size, only slightly!

As the Green Man Flood & Drain System is so easy to use, we recommend this system for less advanced growers.

NOT JUST A FANCY BOTTOM

As the Green Man System was designed for serious growers, where even the smallest changes can make a huge difference. You'll notice the raised, wedged, sloping bottom. This is to maximise drainage when either doing a water change or (if you're running a multipot setup) the nutrient solution is being pulled back to the reservoir.

Along with the internal channel in the centre, you can be sure that 100% of your water is fully drained.

The raised wedge also protects your plants' roots from the surface your pot is placed. For example, if you were to place an ordinary plant pot onto a cold concrete surface, your plants would suffer from cold shock and not grow. With the Green Man System, you never have to worry about this.

More than that, the small semi-circular holes in the wedge allow airflow under the pot preventing stagnated air from building up.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Flood & Drain systems work by literally 'flooding' a plant pot, then 'draining' once all the grow media has absorbed all the water and nutrients it needs to for your plants to thrive. This all happens from a central reservoir and the process of flooding and draining goes on throughout the life-cycle of your plants.

The Green Man Flood & Drain System has been developed specifically for the growth of specimen crops under intense indoor growing environments. Each system is controlled by a brain controller unit, this is programmable and feeds (or floods) for whatever amount of time you choose, then drains the nutrients and water solution back to the Green Man Reservoir Tank. This feeding happens throughout the day, automatically!

AIRSTONE SECURITY

In every Green Man System pot there is a unique and specific placeholder that neatly fits a 4" round airstone. This keeps it held firmly in place whilst air is rushing through it preventing loud noises from the airstone crashing and banging inside the pot.

Eliminating unwanted noise from your grow system for them times when it's better to be discreet.

You'll also notice small ridges in the corners of the Green Man System pot, these clever little notches stop your 4mm airline (connected to the airstone) from getting kinked and squashed. Preventing air failure in your pots.

THE SUBSTRATE TRAY

In The Green Man Flood & Drain System, you need to use the Green Man Substrate Tray. This handy little addition raises your grow media up from the base of the pot, making room for your airstone and ensuring your substrate remains free-draining.

Room for an Airstone? That's right, even though the Green Man Flood & Drain System uses organic grow media, doesn't mean you cant benefit from super-oxygenated nutrients. As each pot fills, oxygen gets blasted into the solution and delivers it direct into your plants root zone.

As the airline feed for the airstone comes from the top of the pot, we've added a cut-away in the corners of the of the substrate tray to prevent your airways from getting squashed, kinked and trapped.

The Green Man Substrate Tray can support huge plants; the weight of your media and plant itself gets supported over 16 risers, ensuring your plants stay stable and undistrubed.

FROM 2 - HUNDREDS

The Green Man Flood & Drain System always uses a Brain Controller unit and a Reservoir. You can connect anywhere from 2 pots to literally hundreds (depending on the size of your reservoir) using a single Brain Unit.

As the Flood & Drain System uses far less water than the Green Man Combi System, you can get more pots connected to a single reservoir. Making it easy to expand your system without having to buy another reservoir tank or brain controller unit, makign The Green man Flood & Drain System a truly versatile and modular grow system for ANY grow space.
